sleepd: sleepd
sleepd:
sleepd: sleepd is a daemon put a laptops to sleep after some period of
sleepd: inactivity. This is useful if your laptop does not automatically go to
sleepd: sleep when you aren't using it, and, like me, you often forget to shut
sleepd: it off. 
sleepd: sleepd monitors interrupts to detect when your laptop is in use. It
sleepd: defaults to automatically figuring out what interupts are used by your
sleepd: keyboard and mouse (detection of mouse interrupts is only known to work
sleepd: with PS/2 mice). Other interrupts can be specified. After a configurable
sleepd: amount of time with no activity on these interrupts, it asks apm(1) to
sleepd: put the laptop to sleep.
sleepd: It supports both APM and ACPI.
