avahi: Avahi - Local network service discovery

avahi: Avahi is an implementation of the Multicast DNS and DNS Service
avahi: Discovery (mDNS/DNS-SD) specifications for Zeroconf computing.  This
avahi: means that you can plug your machine into a network and instantly be
avahi: able to view other people whom you can chat with, find printers to
avahi: print to, or find files being shared.  This kind of technology is
avahi: already found in MacOS X (also known as Rendezvous, Bonjour, and
avahi: Zeroconf).  It is based on the discontinued flexmdns project.
